Default I love my 05 GT... BUT

now im not the only one!

My woman picked an 05 GT Premium 5-spd this past weekend! Shes a new learner to stick shift, but shes really got the hang out of it. She kinda pussed out a little today and drove her old automatic Taurus to work...I have no idea why anyone would want to do that LOL

They were asking 12,900 for the car, but she got it for 10,200!! It only has 62k miles on it.

But either way, with the heavy rains this weekend, she has the dreaded water leak problem I searched for threads and found the TSB, and I checked the drain hole under the cowl and its fairly clean, I think the leak is coming from the grommets where the cowl clip in. Any other tips would be great as Ill try to fix this for her this week.

Anyways, if you guys can welcome her Im going to show her this thread later tonight and hopefully shell join on up!

ONLY 62K miles??
I say that's average or above average depending on when in 05, the car was first put on the road...

Congrats regardless.

Welcome, my wife is probably going to drive my car more than I will as I'm always on call for work and have to use the work truck! She will be able to take it instead of the focus alot of the time.
These forums totally rock!
Lucky for you two you can race each other!

Oh wait you'll have to supercharge hers first, LOL

Yep! My 05 has 55k on the clock. 8k of it boosted and its running strong , but I also treat my car right.

But yeah, the 5 speed feels like butter (compared to my hurst), and the motor is so quiet along with the stock exhaust.

:ninja: I drove her car in this morning and it felt so comfortable and.... tame lol

Congrats and welcome MF!! Got a great price on the GT. She'll have a blast with it. Go for the CAI and tune, oh she'll love it

As for the water leak, someone just very recently posted some info on how to fix it and what to look for.
