I bought a silver from cdc and had it painted black. It will save you some money like Pascal said supplies paint and prep are not cheap, the body shop and insurance company said it was a good deal and the hood quality is great . IMO, are you going to that Steeda thing in FEB.?

If you can get the Gurney for #250 without the hood pin holes, it's the route to go.
If you plan to go with hood pins later, I'd still go with a plain hood, that way you're not limited on where you want those pins to be and which style to use.

BTW, aren't the Performance white hoods available from CDC?
I thought they were... If they still are, all you need is $600 +shipping.
Thanks for info! I'll just get the Dan Gurney hood. I'll see if I could get one without hood pin holes.

I wished CDC still have performance white hoods but I just checked and it's only torch red, vista blue and satin silver.

Thanks pascal, I'll have to check with my body guy. I was going to call buysaleen and see if I could order one without the holes. You bring up an interesting point though, I thought about going with hood pins and from your post it appears there is more than one location for them. I assumed they all installed in the same spot.

No man. Be careful with this.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the heads up. That would have been an expensive lesson!

Are you going to get it striped like your current hood?
