Removing the old tint is easy if you let it get warm. Just let it sit outside in the sun for a couple hrs to get warmed up. Use a straight edge razor to get a corner started. If the tint is warm enough it'll come off in one piece. Just take your time and peel it off slow. I used a hair dryer to heat it up as I peeled it off.

After the tint is off, there will be a residue left over you can scrape off with the razor blade and some windex to loosen it up. Just make sure you keep the razor blade flat to avoid scratching the glass. It's easier than it sounds and less than an hour project.

Good Luck!

Me either, but luckily I can move it for ya. might get more responses if it's not in the red-headed step-child section...

Your car looks great. Pay the ticket, keep the tint.

at autozone for like 10 bucks u can get a tint remover kit, it has some solution you spray on and let it soak for like 30 mins and it just peels right off man check it out. that car looks awesome BTW, and u could just remove the front tint, do u have to let them see the car? or is it just a "5 day warning" because whats the odds the same cop gets you again??

no strangly enough, arizona law states the owner and operator can remove the tint and sign off and mail the citation back, no verification needed. since its warm out now i can ride with windows down whenever i see popo, but most dont care anyway. even border patrol dont seem to care. meh, i had the lights and everything painted to match the black tint, guess if in the end the tint has to come off, then im switching to clear corners and oem tails. albeit i do like the blackout look
