So I just had my front doors done w/ Alpines? They gave me the speakers that were in there, where's the 2 tweeters I have Premium GT? So are they in rear side panels?

There are no separate tweeters for the Shaker 500. 6x8 two-ways in each door, sub in each door and two rear deck speakers. That's it. I don't know how Ford gets eight speakers out of that.

EDIT: FordEngineer says there are speakers by the rear seat passengers knees.

That's coming from the service manual. It could be a Shaker 1K deal. Here's the link to the post containing the service manual picture:

I just checked and my car does not have any speakers in the rear other than those in the rear deck or "parcel shelf" or whatever it's called.

Not that I care, there is no need for speakers in that location IMO.

The Shaker 500 has the following speakers:

6x8's in the front doors. (They have a tweeter on them as they are two ways)
8 inch subs in the front doors
6x8's in the rear deck.

That is it. There are NO other speakers on the Shaker 500. You can verify this by looking at your car. You will not find any other speakers than this.

I'll go out to listen in a few and sit in back seat,

if this is supposed to be the set as said below should be there

There are the 2 subwoofers in the doors (1 in each door), 2 more speakers higher on the doors, near the hinges (1 per door), 2 in the parcel shelf (rear deck), and 2 in the rear quarter panels (near the knees of rear seat passengers, 1 on each side)

I looked at what FordEngineer posted. Then went and looked at my car. I have the NAV system which is the same as the Shaker 500. There are NO speakers in any other area other than the door and rear deck. Definately not any other speakers in my car.
The manual must be wrong.

ok I'm back lol................sad to report fastdew is right! no speakers...but fordeng.....I went into the engineering mode and is that cool, gauges go crazy, buzz, I love the fact you can bring up water temp in numbers, see real tach rpms, and the one test that lights up the whole gauge console with every warning light there is in car really lights her up, explain the fuel level what's telling us, then was another said date of manufacture?, but it's cool

you know was reading how to install new rear deck speakers, sounds like a lot to do compared to opening the trunk and looking up under there, don't you just unscrew, drop them out in trunk and put new ones up and hook wires back to same connections?
