Default Godspeed Wheels

Been looking at 18-20" wheels, gloss black, perferably with a big chrome lip, and would be excellent if they were same weight or lighter than stock. Found these, what do you think? Edit: "The new 18X9 Deep dish Omega wheel only weights in at 24.4lb's making it extremely light for its lip size. The 18X10 only weights in at 26.7lbs with a 5.00 inch LIP!"

They have both 30mm and 40mm offset, but can someone explain the difference too me? And just out of curiosity, anyone know how much the factory wheels weigh?

Those are some nice looing wheels, they would look good on your car. Not sure how much the stock 17's weigh as mine came with 18's. The polished 18's from the factory w/tires were 55lbs each, not light!

The 30mm & 40mm are the off-sets. In easy terms they differs based on the 3.5 in lip vs. the 5 inch lip. This is done so the wheel sits flush with the fender well (in most cases).

I think i understand now. So, a 40mm offset will tuck the wheel more into the wheel well and a 30mm will bring out out of the wheelwell 10mm more? I'd rather it be tucked...

40 is perfect. it brings the rear exactly at the edge of the wheel well with the 10" setup.

Godspeeds look good. I would not recommend the Black Chrome, too sensitive for me.

There are some Black FR500 wheels with the chrome lip for sale in the S197 classifieds.

I've seen 10stangs wheels, and I can attest to how well they look. They would be a great choice to install.

That's the same tire I was thinking about, how well do they hook? I assume nt555's?
