Correction - 2006 GT V8 runs out of fuel at 1/2 tamk
I have a 2006 V8 GT stick that runs out of fuel but only takes about 8 gallons to fill. So, I ran it till it quit and took a two gallon tank with me. It started right up and then i drove to a gas station and it would only take 6 gallons - again about 8 gallons.
Do these cars have more than one tank and/or a crossover pipe/hose?
Other reasons (pickup in tank, etc) that are common issues?
Thanks!
PS: I inadvertently posted as a 2009 instead of a 2006

yes they are saddle tanks with a crossover
tube. the passenger side is used first, then
the driver side.
for some reason the fuel pump is not accessing the
fuel on the passenger side.
