I guess they are just as surprised about what we pay for BMW's. I hear they are much cheaper over there.

No, the salaries aren't very high over there. The cost of living is very high though. The high costs are attributed to the semi-socialist style of governments they have which leads to very high taxation. Next time elections come around in your town ask yourself if you want to wind up paying $60K for your next Mustang.

The problem is that you get hit with about a 40% tax punch in the nuts when you bring a foreign car there.
19% VAT and another 22% for getting the car in the European Community.
Then you have to comply with the Country regulations the car is gonna be titled in.
Got to love them Socialists.

Germany is the worst place to buy a Mustang in Europe, same for parts.
Belgium dealers are less greedy...

You have to remember that to them it's 44k not 60k, still alot of cash though.

Concur with robinsonda1. The Germans, or europeans for that matter, don't consider the the exchange rate. Its just situation normal for them.

BMW, MB, and Audi all make cars that are less expensive than their US export versions, factoring out the exchange rate, of course. They cut way back on the luxury features to keep the price down. No leather, power seats/mirrors, etc. Their are many models from them that can't be exported either.

More pics of the car, with a better camera this time. The wheels seem to be Italian made. I didn't ask anyone since the only two employees there had customers. Frickin 20" wheels look awesome on this car (IMO). I would love to have them on my car. I love the blacked out look.
