I was really torn, but wasn't sure that the piece of plastic was worth $250, and Brenspeed had told me something about the way many RAM air kits feed air over the air box or CAI make the engine act funny. Someone else I talked to said the same thing. So I decided against it.

I figure if really need be, I could get one put on later.

I have the same Concept hood without ram air. Just installed it Sept '09. I asked Cervinis about grids or grills for the opennings. They don't offer any. I like the open look but wondered about debris too. I think a lot more crap / debris / dust would get in from beneath the car than those slots. I am going to live with them open.

Great choice on the hood. Home depot has several choices where you could Macgyver a piece in there. I would look for some of the black plastic rain gutter covers they have.
