make it better than a GT!

huge wing (will make it faster)
22" chrome wheels
American Muscle painted side vents
Street Scene Grille
Headlight splitters
Painted Mirrors
Cervinis BodyKit
Neon Uncarriage

That will make one badass V6!

I have a feeling '05-'09s will drop in value/price once the 2011's are released. You may be able to find a great deal on a GT then if you haven't already. Just search and do your homework. Don't rush into it. Personally, if you wanted a GT, get a GT. You don't want buyers remorse later. 2011 v6 may have more HP on paper, but it still don't match the torque of a stock 05-09 GT. That is the push you feel when you step on the gas, and I love it.

So let me get this straight. On average a GT is a few thousand more then a V6 of same year and condition.... You LOVE the GT. Your plan is to save money by getting a V6 then spend a few grand to add all the extras to make it look like a GT. You going to spend the same amount or more in the long run to have a V6 that looks like a GT but does not have the powerplant, suspension, or brakes.

This is bordering a V6 vs GT thread. Keep it on topic.

If you're going to get a six, wait for the 11's. But if you like the 05-09 bodystyle and still want power, I don't see what problems FI wouldn't solve.

As for spending that money on a GT to have a better building platform, it's all in preference. I don't think modding a v6 is a waste of money just because it's a v6. But, we've all been down that road and I'm trying to stay on topic here

You could buy gt bumpers, spoilers, whatever. But please, if you do get a six DONT put GT badges on her. That's just Blasphemy...

There's nothing wrong with a v6, but guess the point is that he(OP) wants to put money into it to make it like a v8. IMO, I would just save more. I know we're all in a hurry to get a new toy when we dive into the hobby, but I just don't want you (OP) to end up with buyers remorse. Whichever path you choose, the choice is yours.

Any mustang is NOT "a mustang". A mustang has a V8 and a manual.
