Insurance

How much more will insurance be for a GT compared to a v6?

volcomchester18 02-09-2010 12:58 AM

Alot more. But it depends on your driving history (accidents, etc), years licensed and age. I am 23 and im paying $80.00 a month for full coverage with uninsured motorist and $100 deductible. I remember my brother was paying 3k a year when he was 18 when he got his first GT.

shop around and get some quotes. I couldnt afford a gt becuase of the insurance

Matafy 02-09-2010 01:14 AM

Yeah I'm just going to get that '06 Tungsten Metallic v6 lol

Tylus 02-09-2010 02:04 AM

many many factors affect the $$$

age, driving record, time you have been liscensed, coverage without lapse, area you live in, statistics of drivers in your area with similar vehicles, the cost of repairs on your vehicle, the rate at which they get stolen, how much damage your vehicle will do to another person/car

lots and lots of stuff. get the VIN # from a GT and call up your insurance company for a quote. if you are under 25...pretty much be prepared to get screwed. too many idiots get their hands onto these cars

When I compared, the insurance between v6 and v8 were nearly comparable for me.. I bumped up my coverage a bit which increased 6/month coverage by about $30 but I pay $753 for the term with Geico.. and this was with a almost clean record. Just 1 speeding ticket that was about to drop off back in July. I am above 20 and below 30 though lol.

don't be a tool. call your ins and ask.

crazyassracer 02-09-2010 08:45 AM

3 dollars

No one can accurately answer this question. Your driving record, age, gender, and zip code all pay a part in it.

I'm 28 in Houston and I pay like $100 a month.

I've taken all of that into account, 3 dollars.
