Just installed Bassani Race A/B

The Bassani Race was my first axle-back. They were very deep and loud. But since I have an auto I live around 2K rpms a lot and the drone was INTENSE. It felt like my head was being squeezed in a vice. It was way too much.
After a few weeks, my passenger side race developed a rattle internally. I could hear it when driving around slowly and if I just kicked the muffler. I could also hold the muffler up (once I took them off) and tap it with my hand and hear the rattle. I sent them back to Bassani, they gave me a new set, but supposedly a newer version that sounded a little different somehow. I didn't want that drone any more so I sold the new set on ebay and went crazy about drone and bought Corsas. After a year with those, I wanted something louder and deeper and went with boomtubes. Still has 'em. Funny thing is, the boomtubes were my first choice all along but finally decided on the Bassani, eventually coming full circle though.

I have had Bassani Race and Street. Currently running Race.
They do sound similar. Race is just louder, more aggressive, and a little more drone. I like them.
I keep meaning to sell my Streets if I can get my lazy butt up and take pictures of them.

congrats! I have Bassani Race SS axlebacks with stock H-pipe and I love 'em.
I too had great fitment right out of the box with no need to loosen the midpipe clamps.
They have a great rumble and not loud and obnoxious like some mufflers but still sound like you are driving a muscle car. I don't have problems with drone. there is obviously a little more drone than with the Ford stock mufflers, but I don't notice anymore. In fact, I subconsciously adjusted my driving to push past the drone when slowly accelerating around 2K.
Also the 4" tips are big and beautiful.
I have the wrong camera for recording sound and it clipped like crazy, but here is my attempt and capturing these beauties...all that crackle is camera distortion and not any sort of rasp or crackle from the exhaust...nevertheless, i'll try again with a better camera at some point. Here's what i got:
