May have to get some major warranty work on my car... Need help
Brought my car into Frontier Ford yesterday to take a tech out to show him some of the problems my car has been having. Basicallly to sum up my problem, there is some obnoxious noise coming from behind the dash/radio only when the vehicle is moving. Also gets louder as vehicle goes faster.
To describe the noise, it basically sounds like as if there was a CD spinning in the radio at like 3x faster than normal speeds, but I don't have any cd or anything inside the radio.
Also not to mention my handbrake vibrates and makes noise during accelleration.
Frontier Ford wants me to bring in my car on the 22nd to tear the dash apart to see what the problems and the noises are coming from.
Anyone have any ideas on what it could be so they don't have to take apart my car?

Can you hear a ticking noise when you turn on the ignition without starting the car??
That would be the gauge cluster. Of course it's not behind the radio, but some of them tick and get louder when driving. Stepper Motors I think.
