Drone usually happens at around 2K and with 4.10s you'll be around 2500 at 70mph, well out of the drone range.

Not at 70 with 4.10s. Maybe 4.56.

I had 4.10's installed and after a test drive with me, the installer said he was confident, no noise = no break in.

I love my GTA mufflers with the gears. Quiet when I want it to be but everybody can hear me shift.

If i would have went with 373 Im sure i would have been disappointed. There is my take so if ur on the fence about it go with 410's. OH YEA U WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!!
Anybody who thinks that no break in is required does not understand what's happening at the microscopic level during break in and is therefore not qualified to give any advice on the subject.

You may not have any noise right away, but that does not mean that everything is ready for full power either. Only that the installer got the pinion depth and backlash good. The gear tooth surfaces still need to "wear in to each other", and that is a process that cannot be done as part of the installation. No matter how good the installer might be.

Keep in mind that the sooner you waste one set of 4.10's, the sooner you might be back spending more money.

I agree there should be a break in period. When buying the car, Ford and the dealer will tell you to keep it easy for so many hundred or thousands of miles for the break in period. This is true for any brand and applies to motorcycles as well. That doesn't mean you should be scared to drive it, just don't go ***** out with it like you're John Force.

Thanks Norm.

It's been three years since my install and it's all good.

And I trust my installer. The speed shop I use has a great reputation.

After I put my 4:10's in I did a couple heat cycles and about a hundred miles of driving before I let them rip.

I cant really say whether or not you need to baby it but the logic makes sense and really why risk it. You can baby it for a 100 miles, you have driven the car without them this long.

When i drove my car back from the shop the roads were not of best conditions so i drove it like u would normally. I had about 150 miles on them with the drive so i guess u could call that a break in period. Plus i have another good drive today were meeting my parents. So i will have plenty of miles on my gears. Brenspeed is a very reputable shop. They have people coming from all over the place and im guessing if they say u could jump on it from the get go then u would be ok. Not to mention that if you have problems the shop is known to take care of their customers. So im confident that why i do get on it everything will A or OK. ITs funny to see how people think its rubbish and some think u really need it. Its been fun reading the different opinions

Just get the 4.10s. If you don't it will always be on your mind. You'll have your 373s in and in the back of your mind, you'll always wonder what the 410s would have felt like. Trust me, the 410s aren't that much different on gas as my stock gears were. Maybe 8 miles per tank or something like that. You will love to feel of the pedal with 410s.
