Yeah it will be interesting the review between you and me. Mine should be here by the end of next week. I hope it doesnt snow by the end of next week so I can test drive it. I'm gettin sick of this crap! We are not used to this in the south! Figures, I buy a vert in September and this is what I get lol.

Good luck Timmbo!!

I am in the same EXACT boat as you. Roush rears and no adjustable control arms (LCAs are a MUST tho).

Let us know how it goes! I was looking at the ShaftMasters piece as well.

What did Dave tell you exactly about your pinion angle (and anything else) that made you feel confident in your decision and purchase?!?!?

Superb color combo btw

Just Installed mine. all i can say is.....WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW. I absolutely love it. Feels much sportier and more responsive. Bumps however are transmitted more. Im lowered quite heavily ( cant even get a crafsman jack under the front of the car) and no rubbing or noise on medium bumps. Have not tested hard bumps yet.

No more drivetrain clunking. Shifting is more enjoyable now. downshifts are smoother.

Get THIS SHAFT ASAP.

Sold.

You're lowered so you had to correct your pinion angle then? I don't see that you have an adjustable UCA. How did you work around that (if at all)?

NADA. I did nothing. took a test drive, went on an onramp thats an off camber left hander to a fast right hander. Took it up to 90 then shift to fifth. Still smooth. No vibrations.

David was absolutely great on the phone and definately willing to help with any problems.

I know everyone seems to like Shaftmsaster, but does anyone one think it is worth the extra $100 or so for the Steeda driveshaft?

Does the Steeda weigh less?

If the shaftmaster is a straight bolt-in design it's going to be easier to install. The steeda requires you to replace the pinion flange. Which goes beyond "simple hand tools".

Isn't the Steeda piece identical to another manufacturer's driveshaft? Thought I remember hearing that somewhere?

From what I can tell on Steeda's site, it is also a direct bolt-in if I am reading it correctly. Also, from what I can tell, the Steeda one weighs about 4 lbs less.

Here is a link to the Steeda one: http://www.steeda.com/products/steed...riveshafts.php
