I would have to agree with the masses here a wide ban A/F, boost any temp gauge. When i finally put a blower on the car i am going to include a fuel pressure gauge along with my A/F and boost.

I have been very happy with my choice - a needle (not digital) boost/vacc gauge and an Aerorforce Interceptor with an Aeroforce wideband sensor. I prefer needle gauges over digital as a personal preference. But the Aeroforce lets me see a lot of different things without having the car littered with a bunch of gauges.

I tried an Autometer analog boost/vacc gauge because they are cheap. Then got frustrated trying to run the tube from the blower to the guage without having a kink in the tube. So I returned it for an electric (still needle style) Autometer boost/vac gauge.

The Aeroforce Interceptor can display a huge number of things, so you've got a lot of bases covered there. I use it to display A/F and internal ambient temperature (IAT). I also have it programmed to work like a shift light. When my rpm hits my shift point, a red LED kicks on.

I got this green autometer - http://autometer.com/cat_gaugedetail...id=3754&sid=68
and the Aeroforce I picked is in green. The color match is good enough.

I've been looking for a manufacture that has matching IAT, transmission temp and EGT gauges for center pod. Does anyone know of one?

1) I'm kinda partial to Whipple, but Kenne Bell is just as good. I believe that the twin screws are better than the centrificals, and you should stick with the names that have already made a name for themselves on the market.

2) I like the dash pods. I think the A piller pods are more like advertising that you have something. And also I tend to see people put on the A piller pod even when they don't have anything (though this is more of a RICER mod...no offense to anyone on here).

3.) You need the boost gauge, air/fuel ratio gauge, and some people would say an oil temp gauge.

I run the PLX DM100 that allows 4 different parameters to be viewed on a single gauge and on a single screen.

I am curious, why does everyone keep saying "boost" gauge. This is my most worthless gauge, but I guess it makes me feel good to see that I actually have boost after spending > $6k in SC'ing. The boost gauge merely confirms what I already know - I have boost and the numbers are not going to change. If there is no boost, the belt is broken, and the alt idiot light will go on.

I like knowing when I'm in boost, when I'm out of boost. Maybe that's just me.

Its is also kinda fun, maybe mostly out of curiosity, to watch how boost and IAT interact.

Furthermore, its good to know whether or not you're losing boost through some leak or loss of compression somehow.
