I guess my bigger point was missed... these forums are often looked at by designers at Ford. So while I know such things are all personal preferences by individuals - it isn't such a bad idea to post how you think a certain feature can be improved. If you think working around a feature is a good thing, fine - I happen to think it would make better sense to exploit the hardware in a different manner. No doubt the straight USB stick works great (for me - better than any player, plus you're not trying to constantly charge a battery that won't cycle).
