DO NOT BUY THIS CAR, when I was upgrading from my regular black C6 to my Z06, I spent months going back and forth trying to choose a color. It turned into more of a process of elimination than an actual choice. Didn't want black because of the maintenance, didn't want silver cause I felt it was too bland, didn't want red because it was too common. Finally, I chose yellow. After paying near seventy thousand dollars for the car, I brought it home and parked it in my garage. I turned around to look at it and almost freaked out. It was SCREAMING yellow and I wanted it gone IMMEDIATELY. I spent fourteen months owning that Z06 and the color thing bothered me every single day I owned it. Please, no offense to anyone here with a yellow car. If you're having second thoughts about the color now, just wait till you spend sixteen thousand dollars for it!

I'll be willing to bet a number of us could get used to a yellow Z06.

Just got my GT a few weeks ago. Had a '93 Vette but never drove it coz I gots kids. A yellow C6Z would be top of the list for my next car, after my older son is driving in five years. Yellow would be my first choice.

Love it or hate it, I guess. I've owned a Barbados Yellow '88 CRX Si, a '95 Yellow Ford Ranger Splash and a Chrome Yellow '98 Honda CBR900RR Sportbike. Loved them all. How can you not be happy driving a crazy-*** yellow vehicle?

They do look a little sickly with snow on them though...

ok so i just got back from the dealer, just to put minds at ease i still have the sixer... FOR NOW, hahaha, ok so here is the story, start of the night they where giving me $14,500 for my stang, i was like fu*k ya. and they where asking 17,995, ok and i was going to get it for $16,000 at least so it is a $1,500 difference! i was shi*ing my pants with excitment (on the inside!) no emotion shown on face, i was like ya whatever i gues haha

so they take mine for a test drive, he went to the "front office" and came back with these numbers, my car they would give me $10,250 and their price jumped to $19995!

I look at the guy and go wtf, did the values flauxuate in the last 10 minutes or something cause that is wack! he goes well we spent 2,500 on wheels and tires yesterday and that jumed the price, i said ya i see that.

So i my dad is calling them tonight after a bit to talk to the seller... what we want to see is $12000 for mine and theirs for 16,000 with the rims and tires and i will give them some new 20"s i just bought for my car to go with it because they match my car and theirs match their car...

I found it funny how in 10 minutes the prives shuffle like no other!!! but i am thinking mine 12000 and theirs 16000 a 4000 differance for a wayyyy better car.... why not right? i still owe 5200 on mine so i will have to pay off 9200 plus tax liscensing and interest we are looking at $11,500 in the end with payments roughly 250$.....

the question now is.... IS IT WORTH IT HONESTLY....? HELP

Yeah tell me about it. That car is beautiful. I can't believe all the hate towards yellow in his post. Hopefully that car went to someone who will appreciate it, not regret it. Poor z06.

Is that a higher or lower payment?

How about insurance? Is gonna go up for sure. Make sure you can make the payments with your eyes closed.

Being "car poor" sucks. Been there, done that. I can show you the scar.

Don't let those dealer ***** jerk you around. Be prepared to walk. They might call you closer to the end of the month if they can't find a buyer.

I mean a yellow car will be crazy hard to sell, right?
