hood scoop measurements...

And I must add...
don't you think the factory guys (or even the automated placers) sometimes miss the mark SLIGHTLY sometimes??? So maybe some original scoops may be slightly different...scary huh?
As I said before, just relax and hit somewhere in the suggested range and you'll do fine. I even read that one guy put his on backwards...sorta like the old Mopars...and it actually didn't look bad that way.
OK, let the flaming begin.

I agree with the OP. I am very **** about my car and I want everything to be perfect. I will post the pic up on sunday when I get off of work.
I am the kind of guy that if I am aware that the scoop is off by a millimeter, even though it looks good, it will drive me crazy. Thats just me.
Oh I just saw a travesty....I just witnessed a guy washing a BLACK mustang with a tire brush. WTF!!! I am so **** it bothered me that he was doing that to his car.

Went ahead and installed the scoop yesterday, realized that the exact measurement will not make a difference. Turned out great! The Marine in me explains my attention to detail in everything I do.
