Drove up to Wisconsin about 2 hours away to get my 05 GT. Illinois dealers were priced way higher wouldnt deal and werent interested in my trade in.

15 miles away. the dealership let me drive it for a week before i purchased it threw the company purchasing plan i have. Negotiated for about an hour on my trade in and then drove it home. Surprised to see not many people negotiating.

I'll keep this in mind when looking for my next Pony. Sometimes the pickings can be few in this area depending on the time of year.

Anywho, after months of shopping around everything came together as far as timing and location. I bought my Stang at a Ford dealership just down the road from my new workplace. In all it took 2 trips, one to test drive and one to pick up the car 2 days later...only added a few mins to my regular commute.

My car was one of a few that I had in mind at this particular dealership. I originally wanted a black Stang but it had been sold the day before I stepped onto the lot. So I went with the silver one (my 2nd color choice) that was $1000 less and have been beyond happy with it every day!
