shaker 500.. Aux no audio
My new 07 GT came with shaker 500 and a mini-plug in the center console. I connect my ipod and select AUX on shaker 500 and only say: AUX no audio
Its telling my shaker 500 doesnt had the AUX option?

Try another cable and another device to possibly rule out if it really IS the Shaker. It should work. Did you buy the car used? Any evidence that the previous owner may have messed with it?
It COULD be a radio programming issue but I'm not familiar with it; only heard of it. Perhaps 157db can add some info.

I installed a BrandMotion iPod connection kit in my car on Saturday. I made sure everything worked before I buttoned up the install.
The only audio hiccup I experienced was that when I connected the iPod, it played the first few notes of the very first song, by artist, alphabetically, on my iPod several times. In my case it was "Take On Me" by Aha. Not my favorite, but whatever...
But it cleared itself, after about 30 seconds, and was fine after that.
Went out this morning and got that same message that you speak of. I hit the AUX button a few times. It cycled through the 1-2-3, but did not play any music. I disconnected my iPod, and reconnected it. Started up again with the "Take On Me" hiccup, and was fine after that.
But I swear, if I have to go through that ritual every day, I am going to go find all the members of Aha, AND whomever is responsible at Ford for this, and make them listen to Jonas Brothers CDs for hours on end.
Since this is happening with a few different brands of connectors, I have to assume it is a Ford issue.
I read something about dip switches at one point. Are they on the Shaker radio, or somewhere else? Could setting those differently fix this problem?
I've got a LOT of music on my iPod. Maybe I just need to chill for a minute and let it load up first. I'll keep my eye on this thread.

CSS996, the dipswitches are for setting different parameters on the iSimple units. Sevilla seems to have the Shaker500 with the factory aux input. This is standard on all 07+ mustangs with Shaker headunits. If cycling through the AUX settings doesn't work, and trying a new stereo mini cable doesn't work (as I recall the connector in the center console is a female connector) there is the possibility that there is a setting you can access through the Menu button. Holding the button down for approx 3 seconds accesses a separate menu of more advanced options than just tapping it. You might try looking through those.

Thanks for that info. Since mine is an '06, I don't have the mini plug in the console. But since I am getting the same message, that makes me think it is not the OP's cable or device.
Seems like some kind of problem with the Shaker's AUX input on more than a few Mustangs.
