Question Looking for a better option for the JLT 2 wall seal. Use k&n?

I have the JLT 2 CAI and i REALLY dont like the seal wall that it has.. there is no rubber on it and i tried to make it with tubing and its not working out.. im wondering if i can use another one instead? or where i can get one?? any opinions wanted! I dont mind altering it to fit.. Thanks

Nobody?? You gotta admit that the seal wall for the JLT isnt the best... Has anyone else modified theirs?

i had a JLTII and it worked fine, sorry
your seal wall is giving you trouble.

well theres no real 'seal' on it.. just the wall. I tried using rubber tubing to make a seal and its not working out. I dont know why they would make it like that

I dont have pix any longer of my old setup, but before I was blown I had the same issue with my JLT. My sheild was actually rubbing on my hood. Shaved it down and put on weatherstripping like Partsbill did on his car pictured below.

Nice yeah that looks MUCH better and yeah mine is rubbing too! and i probobly gotta buy smaller tubing and try again
