I know it sucks, but consider yourself lucky. If it would have been me, it would have happened at 36,001 miles and I would have a jack *** dealership deny fixing it.

Hopefully they get you back up quickly.

If you are going to order a 2011 better do it now because the mustang
plant, AAI in Flatrock Mi, is going to go to only one shift in late June,
they will increase line speed so people will have less time for each
car, they also build Mazda 6 on same line so have to see what
happens to quality then.

what happened to the o/p is fluke thing, its not common. It will be fixed and later forgotten...I've thrashed my mustang from the day i got it and no issues at all....so don't worry guys....Ford makes a lot of cars daily and mistakes can happen, those mistakes will be corrected...

Nah...didnt go into too much detail. Just said it was a bearing that went and the whole rear axle has to be replaced because of it.

The Mazda6's are pretty good cars...i doubt it would affect the quality of anything in the same plant.

You're probably right, but its not like i would have been driving much differently. Grabber blue is such a cop magnet, i'm pretty scared to be driving at high speeds w/o a radar detector, especially in NJ.

That's the way i see it...had to be a fluke issue, defective part from the factory that no one noticed or could tell was bad from the start.

Im sorry to hear of your troubles.

Glad it went ahead and broke though. My thing is that if its going to break at some point, it needs to go ahead and break under warranty.
