I love vipers, but your mustang is better in every possible way with the exception of rarity but who really cares? I could give a rat's **** about that myself.

As a matter of fact, I'd take MY mustang over any viper. It may sound crazy, but that's how it is!

Why not keep the mustang and then if you really want a Viper get that as well, then you can have both. You will always look back and regret getting rid of your Mustang. I've done that with every "cool" car that I've had and gotten rid of.

I used to feel that way when I owned my 98 Trans Am. Never thought I'd own anything but an F-body.

Now, I've learned to enjoy all the fun rides I've had for their respective qualities.

Like somebody else mentioned, if you're looking for LESS attention, a Dodge Viper will not help you there. Now, if you're into the whole rarity people-taking-cell-phone-videos thing, then go for it. I know I myself have drooled over many a nice car in the parking lot, a couple of which have been Vipers. They're so dang few and far between. I've never even SAT in a Viper, so I can't tell you anything about them firsthand. I think that if your choice is between your Shelby GT500 and a Dodge Viper, you're going to just have to deal with the whole fan club thing. Good luck with your decision!
