LOL... it could have been a cat... several cats... but I hope I never marry a woman that sounds anything like THAT.

What kind of irony is it that a rock caused that trouble for a guy named "Mineral Man"!
Can you post a pic marking where exactly the pebble got stuck?

I've ruled out irony. %$!# like that happens to me all the time. What do they call it... synchronicity? I'm sure if I had picked a different color, such as screaming yellow, the incident would have involved bananas. Likewise for silver... fog, old ladies... you get the idea.

Sadly, I don't have pics of the exact location. The tech said that the rock was lodged between the heat shield and the rotor, and the shield might have bent(?)... I still have no idea how such a little thing caused so much noise. I'm going to take a closer look, and I'll post anything relevant. As I'm probably not as familiar with the assembly as most of you here, any insight would help. Thanks!
