Default deep dish 18x10

I have some of these from american muscle. What the hell is up with the lugnut wells on these things? A regular 21mm socket strips all the paint right out of the wells and barely fits.

It would've been nice if they had mentioned something about needing a super thin wall socket for these things when I went to buy them. :/

Yah man I was pissed. A tire shop put the wheels on for me originally and never mentioned they had to use a thinwall. I had a situation where I needed to take them off myself on a particular day, didn't have time to go get a special socket, and naturally totally trashed the lugnut pockets.

Those redlines were expensive wheels weren't they? No excuse for that BS. The least they could do is warn you that a regular socket won't cut it.

Yeah I had to buy a thinwall socket & wrench and throw it in my trunk just in case I get a flat.

Any pictures? I'm considering these wheels.

I can have a socket turned down at work. Thanks for the heads up.

Pictures? Mine are the deep dish 18" bullitts you can get off americanmuscle.

All I know is if I have problems putting my Enkeis on tomorrow then it's the car's fault which by extension means it's Ford's fault. If this happens you will hear me screaming across the entire northern hemisphere.

I have the same issue with my Boyd's. I also carry a socket/breaker bar in my trunk just in case.
