Default Used 07 GT and one year later...

It's been almost one year (11 months to be exact) since I purchased my Mustang. I thought it would be fun to list the mods I've added since then and the costs involved. This is in the order the mods were added and spread over time...

$180 - Bassani BX Axle Backs - I found a used pair on Craigslist and the guy delivered.

$100 - To weld the mufflers on...yes I had them welded on.

$624 - Steeda CAI and SCT Tuner w/3 Brenspeed tunes - The Steeda was 50 state legal which influenced my decision. Brenspeed support is awesome.

$89.99 - Black Billet Fuel Door - It is what it is...nothing too fancy.

$49.99 - Rubber GT Trunk Mat - I really needed this. I really prevents stuff from sliding around in the trunk. American Muscle.

$19.99 - Shorty Antennae - The stock one is really ugly. Eventually the stock one went back on because the car wash broke this one. American Muscle.

$139.99 - Sequential Taillights - I just thought these would be cool to have.

$954 - Steeda Sport Springs, Koni STR.T Struts & Shocks and Steeda HD Upper Strut Mounts - Strano sold me onto this combo. Surprisingly, it is more than I expected. American Muscle. The last 3 purchased at the same time.

$290 - This was the total cost of lowering + alignment.

$750 - 18" SVT Rims + Goodyear F1 - straight off a new GT500. Purchased from a forum member, Offrdmania. Really nice guy and he delivered.

The total cost comes to $3,197 in mods. I got good deals on the exhaust and rims that help keep the costs down.

Hope this helps some of you guys budgeting for mods.

LOL Totally! I'm pretty sure the last two mods will be 4.10's and a custom dyno tune and then I'm done. After that, I just want to get the car paid off and then upgrade to a GT500...at least that's the plan
