Default Help .. how to make USB input default on 2010 SYNC.

Just got my 2010 Mustang today. Paired my iPhone and setup my iPod via USB ... everything works great ... except ...

When I start the car my iPhone syncs ... and then starts playing music via the Bluetooth connection! I want my USB attached iPod to be the Music player .. not my iPhone. Can I make my USB attached iPod the default Media Player and only have the iPhone connected for phone calls?

I heard that this is a sync issue. I don't know how to fix it.

Well ... I updated from Sync 2.0 to Sync 3.1. I turned on AutoPlay for the USB input. Seems to work ... not sure if it's gonna stick though ...

I have had 0 issues with USB being the default. My car came with 3.x installed ( built in December) so you should be good to go. I have the same combo of an iPhone and iPod on USB.

FYI ... Dealer installed latest Sync version today ... said it's even newer that what is on Sync my Ride .... Now if I turn car off and I am listening to iPod on USB the iPod automatically starts playing again when I start back up. No more defaulting to iPhone Bluetooth Audio. Yeah ...

That is great news, what version is it? I got mine to stop defaulting to iphone music, but I would like it to continue with the ipod playlist after i make a stop.

For u guys that didn't get the unavailable firmware from the dealer, how the heck do u stop it from playing Bluetooth audio automatically?! My iphone starts playing music as soon as I start the car, EVEN IF THE STEREO IS OFF!!! It's driving me nuts.
