2011 5.0 GT = no buyers remorse.

You should be able to get a great deal on a 2011 if you work for Ford and get A-Plan pricing!

even with FI still not gonna be an easy task, isnt the standard output on those still around 400 hp for the non-ic version? still less than an all motor five liter. (not to mention what the 6 speed will do in terms of bringing down the numbers.

I bought my 2010 GT a month ago and have no regrets about it whatsoever, its a great car. I understand the die hard Mustang guys on here trashing the 2010's, but get the car YOU want.

Would getting the 10 now then trading towards an 11 later be a possibility?

Why waste the money? Yeah the 06 will continue to depreciate but both a 10 and 11 will depreciate a TON more as soon as you drive it off the lot. Wait for the 11 if you think you will want it more. The worst that can happen is you will have more money saved by the time the 11 is out.
