All CDs stuck in Shaker 500

My skipper 1000 took a crap in the same fashion, I bought a used pioneer avic-d3 on ebay and that was the best money I have spent so far. Love the GPS, ability to play DVD's, it sounds good, and it doesn't skip.

Called up Service at the Dealer I got it from today, the lady pretty much said "That sucks", but did say I could call back in the morning to see what the Supervisor says.
It's lame cause I haven't even reached my 36k yet...
And there is NO WAY I'm going to pay them for a new Shaker. I'll definitely look for a used/aftermarket before that.

I have an '05 GT and it had the "500" in it. My CD's would get weird on occasion, playing issues, never stuck issues. Put up with it, don't really use the CD option that often.
About two years ago I went to Crutchfield.com and ordered a JVC unit that works for me. They had pricier units with more bells and whistles if you are interested.
Unit comes with what you need to make a clean transplant, instructions, and a phone number if you get baffled as I did. FWIW
