Must admit, the '10+ car is growing on me, I think the 2010-11 GT500 looks great! Actually, it's not so much the backend to me that's ugly, but the shape of the tail lights that make me cringe 
. The overall shape looks more modern and smoother and I could live with it easily 
(especially with 5.0L power!). Make mine Silver or Gray

The 05-09's would have been perfection (exterior wise)if it had the hips the 10's do. The 10's would have been gorgeous if they would have carried over the rear from the 05-09s.
Two things that attracted me to the 05-09 models where the fact that the hood drapes over the front of the car and the opening of the headlights and grill.
I guess in a nutshell, the 05-09's are more chisled and the 10-11's are more 'sleek'. Both are beautiful cars though, imo.

Just got my 2010 ...
The 05/09 definitely as the more Classic Rear end which I like better ... However .. from every other angle I like the 2010 look better. Now ... comparing interiors is not even fair ... 2010 blows the prior models away.
