I'm interested in getting a black racing stripe painted on my 08 GT. What I have is mind is, bumper to bumper and across the roof, a center black stripe, 1 inch gap, and two 1 inch pin stripes lined up on the washer nozzles.

Can anyone give me a rough estimate on what something like that would typically cost?

A friend who owns his own shop quoted me a minimum of $2000 for a complete re-do of the stripes on my ROUSH - including paint/clearcoat of the entire car. Another body shop quoted me $6000.

Edit: I wouldn't know, but I'd love to have my stripes painted on one day.

I had a TruFiber hood and GT500 front end preppd and painted blue, then had the entire car striped from bumper to bumper for $2500 (including clearcoating and blending of fenders), and the guy did a phenominal job.

Pascal is the true person to ask, but I'd guess somewhere between $1000-$2000 as a reasonable price. $6000 though? I'd tell that guy to take a flying leap....

I was recently quoted $300 - $800 on the phone. He needs to see it in person to really get a good estimate so I think it will be in the four figure range.

I paid $1600 to have my entire Cervini's kit painted and installed....and it included the dual stripes/pinstripes bumper to bumper and rocker panel stripes. He did a nice job, clearcoated them smooth. I think I got a great deal.

Oh believe me... I told him! Your prices seem realistic. I'm going to get it done during March-April (new Cervini's Ram Air hood and stripes painted along with entire car). Yeah, it would be great if Pascal chimed in on this!

my buddy painted mine for $500 just stripes and the truefiber hood(includes prep,paint and clear)
