An email is nothing to waste. Go for it and see if you can get a response in 3 months?

Just shot him an email sucking up badly so maybe he'll mod it and return...mayyybee, just mayyybeee.

The tune is awesome, I'd just like startup (cold) idle backed down a bit...

Wow, that is the SAME problem I have. I sent two emails about that, one at the end of December and another like a month later or so. Doug finally got my hot rod tune to idle properly but suddenly the start up flash is WAY too high. It jumps to like 1700-1800 RPM and with my exhaust and cams it's LOOOOUD.

My first start up with that tune I was like, who the hell just started a funny car? Then I realized it was me! :P

I also needed him to copy all the fixes he was putting in my race tune for the cams to my torque tune.

Maybe one of these days...but I bet not.

i noticed on sct tunes with brenpeed, vmp, bama and tillman that startup would do that almost everytime and not drop fast.

With dougs predator tunes (same tunes i have on my SCT), it doesnt pop up near that high and drops pretty fast. Its almost like there is more management available on a predator tuner to allow for that

Mine idles at 1500 exactly when cold cranking, which isn't too bad but hangs there for about a minute...similar to stock. I would prefer it initially 1000rpm and idle back down to 800 fairly quick. My car starts extremely easy and comes up to operating temp quickly.

What's weird is all my bama tunes in the past did not rev too high, always less than 1500. But suddenly with the tune that fixed the idle, it jumped way up.

I had Brenspeed lower it a little. Now it usually does not go higher than 1400, but I have seen it hit 1500 on real cold days. Of course, it's only an issue when having a loud exhaust. This is the only time I don't like a loud exhaust is on cold startup. Any other time I likey.
