Go to a shop bro, it's the best chance you have of getting the job done properly. I say chance and I mean it too, gears are the one job where you run at least a 25% chance of having problems afterward regardless of where you go.

I personally will never have gears swapped out in my ride, ever.

If done right you will not have problems with gears. I have swapped 5 or so sets of gears and never had a whine or anything.

Its all about the install and how much the person knows who does it. And if you follow how ford does it from the factory you will be all good. Its not some magical art or anything, its simple math and patience.
