I did the same ... I could have waited for better prices since there are plenty of 2010 GT's int he lots ... However, I wanted Sunset Gold ... which there are not many at all in the lots. Figure I needed to get one while the getting was good and got it 2 weeks ago.

Funny thing is I had to return to dealer last week and they had this Kona Blue GT on the lot:

It was a demo marked down to $32K .. I probably would have bought it but it wasn't on the lot when I bought my Sunset Gold ... Pretty much loaded but with Manual Tranny.

I purchased a 2010 5-speed with 3.73, 19" and HIDs for 33,400 after TTL. This was with 0% (so no rebates) and did not include my trade which I also was able to use as leverage when pitting dealers against one another. The prior day I was sitting at the dealer and they said the absolute bottom line they could possibly do was 34,500 and they couldn't do HIDs for that price. They kept showing me some paper, saying how that was their rock bottom price and invoice this, invoice that...blah blah blah. I said, okay, well if that is as low as you can go thank you but I am very happy in my current car and have a good night. Next day they called back and lowered the price by 900 on the GT and upped my trade in by 500. Go figure. Could I have gotten a better deal? Absolutely! Should I have waited for a better deal? Maybe, but then I might not have found the car I wanted. If you do the math, 33,400 - 525 (list price for HIDs not including install) = 32,875. Less tax of 7% = 30,724. Less approx $600 in dealer fees, tag, and other misc crap they add in brings the price to right at $30k. I felt okay with that price. I know there were a few dealers with the Red and White GTs that were willing to go a few thousand less. Just not worth it to me.

You be the judge.

get one from an auction, we had a 2010 Gt go the other day with low miles for about 23 thousand. So either get one from an auction or atleast now you know how much the dealers are getting them for. offer a low ball price, when they say no, give them your number tell them to call you when they get close to that, if not dont call back! The good news is THEY ALWAYS CALL BACK!!

Or try to buy one at a very low cost but tell them you want high intersest rates. once the paper work is done, then go get it refinanced.
