So, I filled up gas at 1 of the ethanol free stations

I get that kind of good gas mileage because I ride 60 mph instead of 70-80 mph like others do. On this trip to visit my father I had to go out of my way to get to this ethanol free station and it added an hour to my trip. So, I had to go pretty far to get it but, wanted to see what kind of a difference it would make. I'm impressed, it helped quite a bit.

Ok, you went 1 hour out of your way; that's equal to at least 2 gallons from what you said your fuel mileage is, equaling about $5.40 COST to get that gas. But you gained 4 MPG. If you filled the tank from empty that's 16 MPG x 4 gallons = 64 more miles per tank. But since you claim you get 34 MPG on the pure gas, it sounds like you went out of your way to break even by burning those 2 extra gallons just to get to the station. At least you got more seat time in the Stang...
I also think something is fishey with your stated fuel mileage. i DO believe the 4 MPG difference but if I were you, I'd check my speedometer against a GPS. A CAI & tune isn't helpful by more than 1 MPG if at all. Perhaps AFTER you loaded your tune your tire RPM's or gear ratio got mis-adjusted.

Nuke, I didn't do it so actually save money. I knew it was too far away to do that. I just wanted to see what difference in MPG the non ethanol gas would make. If it was better, I was expecting about maybe 2 MPG. I ended up getting 4.5 better. Very impressive or horrible for the ethanol gas. I have a Brenspeed tune that has adjusted my extra tire height so the odometer should be pretty accurate.
I also have a Pioneer Avic D3 sound system with built in GPS and the speedometer matches the GPS. I do keep a log of my gas mileage. On average, I get about 27 MPG per fill up. But when I do a road trip and hardly no city driving I get between 29 and 31 MPG. Again, I drive the car like I'd like to have it last me a long time and not like I stole it.

I know. I'd have done the same just for more seat time, let alone to see how performance improved. I sometimes get a real kick out of those people that will drive 20 miles round trip to save 5 cents a gallon somewhere and burn 1 gallon of gas at $2.70 to save 60 cents.

Seat time..... is this the only car we want more seat time in? I love riding in this car. The seats are so comfortable. Glancing down at the beautiful dash in this car is special too.

Given I have 4.10s but the best I ever got was 24mpg. Also is the tank on the 08 GT/CS 16.1 gallons? I fill up and my car says I only used 12-13 gallons with 15 miles left in the tank but I get about 250 a tank and drive 35 miles a day on the highway.

I dunno how you guys manage this MPG though. 30 MPG in a GT is just...strange to me. I get the normal EPA stats; sometimes 1-2 over if I am going all highway.
