Default So, is there an amp powering the "shakers?

I've got a question concerning the speakers in my 2006 mustang. I've got the Shaker 500 with the subs in the door (not in the trunk). Some on the board refer to those small subwoofers as "shakers", Is there an amp powering those speakers?

The reason I am asking is because I just removed an Alpine 9847 single din radio from my truck, and I was thinking of swapping it over to my mustang, mainly so I can take advantage of it's Aux Input / MP3 option and maybe someday the preouts for a trunk mounted subwoofer. Would there be any problems swapping over to this head unit

yes there are amps in the footwell on the drivers side and yes you can put the alpine into the car with no issues
