I was just looking for some account for what people are paying recently for 05-06 used stangs to get a benchmark. I would like to hear both v6 and gt. Please include whether it's a deluxe, premium etc, mileage, and how you got this price.

I was just wondering because I'm seeing in threads saying you can get a v8 for <13,000 and a v6 <10,000 in good condition. However, I don't see prices anywhere near this (craigslist, autotrader, cars.com). Even bluebook says a used 2005 gt should go for ~15,800. And an 2007 v6 ~14,500.

Because they're lying! I've been looking too. Gts for me have run from 16,500-22,000 used and the v6 from 9,995-16,000. It depends on a lot of things. Just decide what you really want and go from there. Or else you will jump around a lot like I have done.

I paid $11,200 (tax included, sticker was ~$12,000) for my '05 v6 in August of '09. It had 42,000 mi and was in good condition. I think area must play a big role because I also hear about GT's on here for around $13,000 and that doesn't seem to be the case around here from what I've seen. (Phila-New York area) Most that I find are easily $15,000 plus

A nice S197 GT that isn't salvaged for less than 13 grand is a joke. That would mean the car lost more than half it's value in just 5 years...

i paid 19k for a 2006 GT last April. It had 40 000 KM dont know how many miles that is. I think in Canada the cars are more money anyways

I bought my 06 gt two months ago with 33k, 5 speed premiem for 9 thousand, but i got extremely lucky...I work for an insurance company, the guy had a small fender bender, no ins on the car and coulnt afford to fix it. I put 1500 into it to get it fixed so i have about 10500 in mine and still has a clean title!! I stole it!
