I understand all about the added noise, I have been running 3:73 gears and BMR LCA's for over 2 years now and I expected to have an increase of cabin noise with the new DS and UCA. The wife has asked me to let a shop fix the issue to make sure nothing else has been damaged cuz I am going to be driving it from Augusta, GA out to Benson, AZ in about 3 weeks.

The noise can get a bit much sometimes. I was fine with the driveshaft when I was running the stock headers and h pipe. Since adding the headers and x pipe the noise has become more intrusive and irritating. I am seriously considering putting the stock DS back on to see if that reduces the noise level on the highway.

Issue is resolved... The Steeda UCA is out and the stock UCA is back in and all is good. I contacted CJPonyParts about returning the UCA and they told me to just box it up and set it on my front doorstep on Tuesday and Fedex will pick it up.. They also adjusted their online website to show that part nr 555096 is for lowered mustangs.... Once again, thanks for all the comments.

so in the end it seems like the pinion angle was wrong since you had the wrong LCA's? just trying to learn

FRPP shocks and Struts, BMR LCAs, panhard bar and brace, Shaftmaster one piece DS, and BMR front A arm brace. GT500 wheels and tires. FRPP 3:73 gears. Stock UCA. I may try replacing the stock UCA again later this summer and this time I may just get an adjustable UCA.

I spoke with Steeda today about their non-adjustable UCA for lowered Mustangs which accidentally ended up on your non-lowered Mustang. They said that the length difference between the OEM UCA and their non-adjustable for lowered Mustangs was .400 of an inch. I asked the person I spoke with how much this .400 would change pinion angle. Although he wasn't quite sure he guessed 2-3.5 degrees. He added that it is either .100 or .150 of an inch for every 1 degree of change. I thought that since SteveB eliminated his harmonic vibration by returning to the OEM control arm and length that this might be useful info to anyone encountering harmonic vibration with aftermarket suspension components since it didn't take much of a change for him to start experiencing harmonics at 78 mph to eliminating them.
