The heat shield on the intake meets with the under side of the hood so it pulls in no warm air from the motor.

The term "COLD" in CAI is a real misnomer. The difference in performance between outside air vs. engine compartment air that is continuosly mixing with outside air is negligible so don't get too hung up on that aspect of intakes. If you're S/C'd and cranking some serious power, then every % of power gain out of every mod might add up to an extra horse or 3 but for most of us it's not worth getting yourself in a tizzy.

I have a BBK because I originally did not want to tune my car. Yeah, right? Lol.
After I changed my mind, that is the best well spent money yet in this car. If I knew I was going to get a tune, I would have bought a package in the first place with a different CAI, one that requires a tune.

AT this time (lol) I am not anticipating to do any more performance mods (aside from gears and suspension) so I don't have a justification to spend more $$ on a new CAI. Plus I think my BBK looks sharp, and I've gotten compliments on the looks.

I am really liking the looks of the Bullitt CAI... but I havent heard from anyone here that has it whether they like it or not.

My car is black with flat black stripes and the look just fits the theme... here it is.

either that or this one...

THe housing on the bullitt is 85
The housing on the C&L racer is 95

Will this prove any difference in performance?

Please tell me what you guys think.
I plan on making my desicion and order before today's business day ends!
