Well Ford is denying any involvement in their service manager remote starting my car and it driving into their lake. So it will go through my insurance. No new car, and I will never ever own another Ford after this bs. I already started looking at new Corvette's. Here's some pics.

Thats what you get for installing a
remote start in a manual car
without a neutral safety switch.
Idiot.
Maybe you wont leave the stealership the remote start fob next time???
Lucky it was not your garage door because wifey tried to remote start her.
Now the poor dealership has to pay to fix it because of your stupidity.
You are the reason Dealerships are refered to stealerships round here...

just what I expected, remote start with a manual= car in pond... you should not write Ford off for this, the dealership is who you should be mad at, well and who ever told you "yea we can put a remote start on a manual car, no problem".

Ford is denying any involvement?? Are you talking about Ford Motor Corp or the dealership?? The dealership is SOL, this is no different then a tech taking your car out for a test drive and totaling it. The dealership has insurance just for that very reason. The dealership is going to have to pony up the money for your car NOT your insurance company

That's retarded. The car was in their hands when it went into a ditch. Like everyone says, that's why they have insurance. **** happens. If they wouldn't have touched your car, it wouldn't have happened. I would keep fighting it. Either a lawyer or do it the old fashioned way. Stand outside and tell EVERY customer exactly what happened and how they did nothing. It won't take long for them to realize that they are losing more in sales than they are saving from ****ng you over.

+1. How did it end up in the pond then? Did the car's computer decide to go to AN HERO mode?
