Well like I said, if for whatever reason Shaftmasters does not want to participate, Powerhouse and Coast Driveline are runner up choices (depending on what you guys feel comfortable with).

Which is why this idea died on the vine last time. and very sad to say the least. I've participated in many group buys on a mountain biking forum I participate in. It's usually a win/win situation for everyone involved, even the owners of the site.

Coast is 116 or 216 bucks more expensive, and a 4" shaft, no thanks.

Ya, I suspected that Coast would be the least popular of the 3.
Well if/until this thread gets locked, I'll still be looking for interested persons by means of posts on here or PM's. The quicker the better!

It's my belief that Shaftmasters has already lowered the price as far as they can on the direct fit driveshaft. I don't think they are trying to make as much profit as their competitors. The rear flange cannot be cheap to build and they have R&D cost to recover. As far as I am concerned, $599.99 is a bargain. If they asked $699.99 for the driveshaft and then gave a group buy discount of $599.99 everyone would be happy.

I have posted on this subject before. The Shaftmasters is a high quality piece. I have tested many 1 piece shafts for these cars. The Shaftmasters is second to none and they are the only one with a direct fit. It's worth every penny at $599.99

Just my $.02

B]UPDATE: I was able to get in touch with Shaftmasters and they are not currently interested in negotiating a group buy. The next thing to do is contact Powerhouse and see if they are interested in the matter. Thank you for interest.[/B]

well I had mine put on like 4 days ago along with a clutch and aluminum billet flywheel....I have to wait 500 miles to really get on it (spec clutch)....it's definitely worth the money if you can fork it out...feels sportier....a little more movement in the shifter... I asked shaftmasters direct for a better pricing and they said no....but it's still worth it I think my .02
