Trust me, you will notice. I also went from 3.55 to 4.10 - the difference is noticeable immediately. You will perticularly notice that at highway speeds you can much more easily accelerate in 4th and even 5th gear. I initially considered going with 3.73 gears, but I am convinced, at least for me, the 4.10's were the right choice.

Question....
When I get the 4.10's and have them installed at a Ford Dealer, won't they adjust the tune for it?

If so... what do I do about that since I will have a custom Brenspeed tune? Do I tell them NOT to tune it, or do I just order a new Brenspeed tune before I take it in and when I get the car back from the dealer load up the new tune?

I wouldn't even go to the dealer. Regardless, have them installed then get a new tune to adjust the speedo.

You can use your hand held to change the gear ratio.. You don't need a new tune. At least the SCT X3 can.

Not trying to steal the thread...
was just wondering how different the car feels after a CAI and Tune.
I went with C&L Racer and I will be using a 91 octane tune from Brenspeed.

Getting a tune/tuner first makes the most sense, because then you can update your axle ratio with your SCT.

CAI and Tune saved 0.25 seconds on the 1/4 mile, and got me a couple mph.
