I have a ton of parts I ordered for my GT500 front end conversion and today I decided to take inventory of them. I noticed the Foam Isolator I ordered does not match the part number I received.

I ordered: 7R3Z-17C882-A

I received: 7R3V-17E898-AC

I tried to look up the part numer of what they sent me (7R3V-17E898-AC) and I can find no info on this. I ordered from Tousley Ford Parts and they send out a ton of this stuff for these conversions so I assume they know what they are doing. Is this an updated part number for the GT500 Foam Isolator(2005-2009) or did they send me the wong part.

I would say it is a updated part,just call them to make sure.

I just noticed the box had the correct part number so someone pointed out to me that it's most likely an engineering number thats stamped on the item.

That's the foam core for a GT. Did it work?
