Default I'm an idiot..H pipe update

Ok so I went to check all my O2 Sensors again because of the CEL after my O/R H pipe install. Either I'm a moron and didnt plug in the first O2 sensor of it came out but I think I just forgot. The O2 wore didnt reach the factory plug so I had to undo the plog from the harness to extent it so I could plug it in. I noticied something while I was under the car and Im not sure if this is normal or not. Will the O/R pipe hang any lower than the stock? I noticed the new pipe is lower that the stock pipe. I guess that can be corrected when I have the pipe welded up. I changed my mind about the Pypes O/R H pipe fitment...It is pretty much crap and must be welded and you should really buy O2 extenders.

I have to say I really do enjoy working on my car and there is a sense of satisifaction when you complete a new mod yourself.

you should need extenders as the bungs arent that much different than stock placement. Like said you might have to remove 1 fastener to give you a couple inches maybe.

Fitment has always been hit or miss for them. But for 175 you cant complain much for a SS setup too.

Yes it might hang a little lower but also there is no support since you have no supports on the tranny like most people have.

the sound should be worth it though.

If you eliminate the catalytic converters without telling the computer you have done so (i.e. a tune), it will freak out and tell you that it thinks the cats aren't doing their job. When there is no reduction in the amount of fuel between the first set of plugs and the second, you will set a MIL.

You need to either reinstall the catted pipe, or get a MIL eliminator... or get an SCT and tell the computer to shut up.

I have the tune and the rear O2's were off. It was the front O2 that was giving me the CEL. But that was because I forgot to plug in the sensor. I hope the pipes sit up a bit after welding. And yes the sound is FU*#ing awesome!!!!!
