SoCal Cruise from Rancho Park to Long Beach

Who: Open to anyone that owns a Mustang!
When: July 10th, 2010.
Meeting time: 7:30am – 9:00am, Departure at 9:15am

Starting: Rancho Park (It's on Motor Ave. just south of Pico, in West LA)
2551 Motor Avenue
Los Angeles, CA 90064

Ending: Long Beach, CA (Beachside) Entrance to Parking area will be on Junipero Ave.

Map of Route: Will be handed out at Rancho Park 20 minutes before Departure Time.

Make sure you take down phone numbers of people you know and meet at the park so if you break off you can be in touch with others at the cruise.

It’s been awhile since our last cruise back on November 2009 and we are due for another one. I think that choosing the same start point from the last one would be good since everyone know where it’s at. The cruise will be a mix of freeway and street driving. Location to meet is Rancho Park, 2551 Motor Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90064, just south of Pico on Motor Avenue, in West Los Angeles. We will be meeting at 7:30 and heading out at 9:15am. We will end at the parking lot on the beachside in Long Beach. We will be going over the Vincent Thomas Bridge over by the docs. There will be no food there so I suggest bringing a cooler with food and snacks and drinks so you can hang out by the beach after. Maps will be handed out so no one should get lost. When time comes to hand out maps, please be by your car.

EVERYBODY NEEDS TO MAINTAIN THEMSELVES AND FOLLOW THE RULES OF THE ROAD, REMEBER THE ONES THAT YOU STUDIED TO GET YOUR LICENSES. WE WILL BE SHARING THE ROADS WITH MANY OTHER VEHICLES AND PEDESTRIANS SO LETS ACT RESPONSIBLY AND GET A GOOD REPUTATION AND PUT ON A NICE SHOW RATHER THAN HAVING PEOPLE CURSE AT US AND NOT BE WELCOME ANYMORE.

Note: While on the Freeway, don’t speed off, stay off to the right lanes and allow the other members to catch up. Also, at the Long Beach end point, they have parking meter there, so just bring some change with you. (Just in case you know who wants to show up)

Please pass out the word to your friends, family members, and other Mustang Clubs in Southern California that we will be having a cruise. We want to make this one another big cruise.
