I don't think its funny either. About a month ago someone cut me off and to avoid him hitting me I curbed the rear drivers side wheel going about 40+ mph. At first I thought I just tore the rim up, but it turned out I also bent the caliper bracket, left rear axle, pan hard bar, and bent the axle housing. Total damage was $2800 and some change. This on a car which only had 750 miles on it.

I was making a right turn from a busy street to a residential in my 05 GT last Thursday. As I approach the turn I notice an 05 GT with a bunch of kids standing around it, the driver was making a right turn from the residential street to the busy street when he over cut the turn and curbed the rear axel. There has been some construction so the curb was exposed and there was a bunck of large rocks and bunch of chunks of concrete, scrape! I counld not help but to laugh at this guys misfortune and snap some pictures. Check it out...

Hey Mr Mustang - you are one big f**cking ****ole - what the hell is so funny with somebody scraping there car...............

Get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+1

I'm glad the kid is okay, I feel bad for the poor mustang, esp since it's a GT, hopefully someone learned a lesson. I think it's good you post stuff like this, it reminds all our young forum users to be safer, however I don't appreciate my fellow mustang owners cussing at you, I think it's very uncool and uncalled for. BUT that is just MHO.

That's exactly why his first car shouldn't have been a new v8 mustang. That is unless he was avoiding another accident, then I understand.

If he ran over a curb, I really worry about his driving skills. Keep him away from me unless his stupid self is in park! lol.

Hopefully it doesn't cost too much to fix though.

I feel for they car not the driver....

coming from a kid who could have been spoiled, I was not.... My father made really good money but made me 'earn' my car the way he did. My first car was a GT, not a mustang though.... an ESCORT 6 years old and 90K miles, $3k. I saved every penny for that car..... and I also tore the **** out of the car, not on purpose, just being young and inexperienced.

Now, I'm 27, getting a real GT, and am one of those people who think 16 year old should have very restricted rules about driving. Looking back I'm surprised I didn't kill myself and wouldn't try half the crap now that I did then.

From my personal experience: The probability of having an accident in a fast car is directly proportionate to the car's horsepower multiplied by the number of friends in the car divided by the time of day (doubled after dark). the probability of a wreck increases exponentially when stupid juice (beer) is involved.
