Default A little concerned---

I was installing a new fuel pump in my '06 GT 'vert yesterday. When I removed the rear seat bottom cushion, I noticed a little well, on the pass. side floor (where the seatbelt anchor is bolted, was full of water. It wasn't rusty or anything, but it shouldn't be there. Anybody ever seen this? Any ideas where it might have come from?

Check your rear window to see if it's separating from the vinyl, happened on my sisters 07 vert. Under her back seat was full of water.

I checked my rear window. It looks perfect, no sign of separation.

It may look perfect but run your fingernail around the vinyl where it meets the glass and make sure it's not coming apart. That's how my sister found it.

On Verts, it comes from the sides, sneaks in from behind the quarter panel trim or the rear glass when the glue starts to fail. Check it out ASAP.
Hard to avoid really.

For accurate test, stay inside the car with the seat bottom out and with the doors closed with the windows up. The top must be up of course.
Have someone spray water with a garden hose at the lower part of the top from the outside, and see where the water is coming from.
