I put on a set of BMR lowers and for now my wheel hop is gone, however it not magnifies the rear end whine. I will have to get that fixed now.

Interested in the answer to this one myself. Altho itd prolly be more cost effective and effective in general to just buy a set of bmr control arms and an upper.

UMI LCA's and relocation brackets for me. No wheel hop now. Much cheaper than the Roush.

I won't say that it has stopped my wheel hop as much as it has made it less frequent. However, I'm still running the stock 17" wheels and tires with a supercharger...so I don't think I'm a very good test case:-)

Stickier tires and bigger wheels coming soon.

Did you weld in your brackets? I see it's said for drag racing/hard acceleration it's better to weld them in....

LCAs helped, but the UCA really eliminated the wheel hop for me.

I called BMR and they said the poly, lower control arms (TCA019) eliminate it in most cases. I installed them and it eliminated probably 90% of my wheel hop. Seems all the hop is gone on dry pavement with just a little left when it is wet. BMR said the UCA's generally add a lot of noise to the cabin and didn't suggest them unless you had a lowered car.

Be sure to purchase the special poly bushing grease before you install the bushings as they have grease fittings and require the bushings to be greased prior to install. Jegs has the grease ---> http://www.jegs.com/i/Prothane/311/1...oductId=762176

I also just got a JLT and tune and I can tell you for sure, there is no longer wheel hop at the top of 1st gear and none when I slam it into 2nd.... just lots of wheel spin. Used to have a lot of hop during both of those situations.

I just bought one of the Roush wheel hop reduction UCAs for my car and will be installing it in a few weeks. I'll report back and let you all know my impressions.

Just bolted them in. I don't think welding is required unless you add some sticky tires and go to the track. I've done several burnouts with no problems and zero wheel hop.
