MIL eliminators will not work on the s197
you need to get a tuner to shut off your rear O2 sensors

Hemi, thanks!!!! Showed it too hubby, we are going to order them and give them a try; for less than $20, its worth a try, just need to get my inspection done!!!!!

Gavin, thanks for the input, that is what we are planning to do as well, when I can get time to schedule an appointment with my tuner and drive an hour to see him

Thx guys, great help!!!!!!

sorry for my rudeness, what i meant to say was they sometimes work and sometimes not.
i had a pair and they did not work at all.
my friend who does a lot of tuning said they dont work that well on these newer mustangs, and better to just get a tuner intead since you will need it for future mods anyways.
just didn't want you to waste your money on something that only might work.

Hey Gavin, no worries, I knew exactly what you were saying After we installed the BBK headers, I started to notice intermittent check engine light coming on. We would plug in my SCT tuner and clear the codes and no light for several days, sometimes weeks but it would always come back. Now, I cant even go through a full drive cycle before the check engine light comes back on. I think these mechanical ones, that Hemi referred, should do the trick until I can get to my tuner dude!!
