Default Looking to buy myself an early birthday present......

Hey guys,
So I know alot of you have mentioned that my stang needs a drop badly and Im thinking that I might finally get a set of springs to help out my car's look. I have looked through alot of different manufacturers and drop amounts and I think the Roush Extreme Lowering kit would look the best and work with my current budget. The Roush springs are made to work with the stock shocks and struts so that will save me a lot.

Have any of you installed this kit? I would love to see some pics of this kit installed if you have some. Any other comments or suggestions would be great.

A drop will take your already mean looking car and make it meaner. Its crazy what a 1-2 inch drop does cosmetically. I cant wait too see the new stance!

I will be right on your heels as I need a drop as well. I had been holding off as I didn't have the budget for shocks and struts as well. Didn't realize that the Roush Extreme works with the stock S/S.

Have you heard any feedback on the ride quality after installing this kit without upgrading the S/S? I had Eibach springs on my 98 without S/S and he ride was pretty rough and even with bump stops it seemed to bottom out every now an then. Wasn't ideal for a daily driver. That experience is what was making me hesitant about altering my current suspension without going full force on the setup upgrade.

I havent heard alot about the springs so far. I know someone on the roush site has them on his car and he absolutely loves them. I was kind of nervous about still using the stock s/s but roush recommends it so I imagine it wont be too bad. My buddy had sportlines on his 08 gt with stock s/s and the ride was pretty harsh.

Thanks for the compliments, I would love to get duals right now but its a little bit outta my price range lol

Hmmm they also recommend using their wheels as well. I think it'd still be best to swap out your shocks/struts while you're at it

PS. Its about damn time you lower her lol
